How many of us have amazing ideas, start putting them into action, and then end up side tracked?  If that is you, we have something in common.  During lockdown, which now seems a lifetime ago.  I had many ideas and started putting them into action.

1.Was an inspirational deck of ‘oracle’ cards with colour as the fundamental aspect. I used intuition to assign a word to each colour and eventually added an inspirational phrase. The picture is smaller and less important than the colour.  Hidden in each picture is a number, this is another layer, you see it if it’s relevant.  There are more hidden layers to the cards, which I am saving for phase two.  Who knows when I will get to that!  Yet to be revealed.  It took me until late 2025 to team up with someone who could help me bring ‘the colour cards’, now called Soul Spectrum Oracle to a physical product.  Available on my website in both English and French.  Better late than never!

2. During the lockdown era I also started some pre-recorded podcasts with a friend of mine, Andra who hosted the sessions.  We had fun during a difficult time and once again, I got distracted.  I started to upload them on YouTube and write Blogs to add the links.  Opportunity knocked and I ended up moving from the South to the North of UK.  Other events and distractions put this project ‘Progressive Soul Podcasts’ on hold.  For several years I kept thinking, this year I will get the podcasts posted.  Here I am still trying.  Better late than never!

Following this post will be a series of posts for the Progressive Soul Podcast (hopefully).  Two seasons of seven episodes’.  Looking back it was 2020 when I initially posted about the Progressive Soul Podcast.  Here is an excerpt; Part of life is growing; if we are growing, then our level of understanding will change with that growth. Therefore, it’s not about having finite answers – I have current perceptions and understandings at a point in time. It may well be that further down my path my understanding will evolve. Thus – The Progressive Soul.

I had done a few zoom interviews and started to enjoy those, which I didn’t expect.  Then I decided it would be a great idea to get together with Andra and do podcasts. We bounced ideas about and together we were inspired to dovetail them into the Progressive Soul as a podcast series. Depending on your understanding, these podcasts may or may not resonate with you. They may give you food for thought or merely plant a seed that is cultivated by you at your own pace. That then will be your “progressive soul” journey.

 During this time of global change, I managed to convince Andra to help me put some podcasts together.  In the lead up, speaking for myself, I went through many doubts and insecurities. When we finally coordinated ourselves and stepped outside of our comfort zones, we enjoyed the experience. So, we decided to do a series of 7

Probably the hardest part is keeping the podcasts short.

 The series starts with 0. Owning Your Power. You can tell we are finding our way and just going with a flow. These podcasts are not meant to be polished or give definitive answers. They are q & a style chats.  They are meant to be thought provoking and for those who choose to listen, to inspire personal investigations, thoughts, inspirations. The first of two series titles are as follows and will be shared throughout 2021 2026 and 2027 then the next series will follow…

4. Co-authoring a book, still on the back burner, I’m sure it will be another… Better late than never!

Never give up on your ideas, sometimes they may need to mature over time.  Life happens and derails you, that doesn’t mean you have to give up.  So what if others are doing it too.  Who cares if people ride the wave with you.  We all have a perspective and we all have something to offer.
